Product Information

Ash Slipover is a mock neck, slightly oversized drop shoulder style slipover, worked from the top down in stockinette stitch. It features a neat shoulder detail and classic 1 x 1 rib around the neck, waist and arm openings. Sleeve openings are narrower towards the under arm, this is created using short rows. 10 to 20 cm / 4” to 10” of positive ease is built in to the pattern, choose a size based on how much ease you prefer.

Gauge
13 stitches by 20 rows = 4” x 4” / 10 x 10 cm using size US 10.5 / 6.50 mm needles in stockinette stitch, after washing and blocking.

Approximately 400, (425), 475, (525), 600, (625), 650, (675), 700 grams of BC Garn “Hamelton Tweed 2”, 50 grams = 60 meters / 65 yards, Sample featured in color “03” and
50, (60), 70, (80), 85, (90), 95, (100), 100 grams of Kremke Soul Wool “Babysilk Lace Solid”, 25 grams = 210 meters / 230 yards. Sample is featured in color “2982”. Both strands are held together throughout the pattern.

Suggested Needles
US 10.5 / 6.50 mm, 80 cm / 32” circular knitting needles or needles to obtain gauge for the main body + US 9 / 5.50 mm, double pointed needles or short 25 - 40 cm / 10” - 16” short tip needles for the sleeves and neckline, 80 cm / 32” length for the body ribbing.
