Tussah Tweed is an exciting and exclusive yarn with fine tweed nepsies and a very interesting stitch definition. It is processed from the cocons of wild butterflies which are allowed to flee the cocon before it is processed into silk. Thus Tussah Tweed can be called a "cruelty-free silk". Tussah Tweed is very stable and feels a bit rough at the beginning, but gets softer and softer the more you wash and wear it. For this reason, it is not only suitable for hand knitting, but also for the knitting machine, for weaving and embroidery.
Ein wunderbares herrliches Seidengarn, nachdem ich sehr lange gesucht habe. Es fühlt sich anfangs zwar "leicht rauh" an, doch das ändert sich bereits beim Erstellen der Maschenprobe schnell. Ich freue mich darauf, dieses wunderschöne Garn zu verarbeiten!
Ich stricke schon zum 2.Mal das Suri Shirt und bin immer noch sehr begeistert von dem Garn. Es fühlt sich beim Stricken etwas rauh an, das Garn wird beim Waschen sehr weich und hat einen wundereschönen Fall. Danke auch an das Soul-wool Team für die schnelle Lieferung
Ich habe eine Laceschal (Farbe 034) auf den Nadeln, der ein Geburtstagsgeschenk werden soll. Bisher sind 2 Stränge verstrickt - ohne auf einen einzigen Knoten zu stoßen. Ich nutze Nadelstärke 2,75, da ich sehr locker stricke. Der Griff und die Optik meines Strickstückes sind toll. Habe schon nachbestellt. ;)
Natürlich muss man etwas mehr Zeit für die Arbeit einplanen, aber der Strickspaß macht das definitiv wett und das Endergebnis, denke ich, auch.
