The vertical lines of the shawl are produced with right cable on RS and slip stitch on WS, and the broad horizontal stripes are made alternating stockinette or reverse stockinette stitch. It can be finished with tassels of your desired length. The pattern is quite simple but can be fiddly if you remove and replace markers on every WS row.
